  1. Veggie burgers

Please welcome the healthier version of fast food to your kitchen. You may disagree with me, but I promise if you are vegetarian, you will start adoring it once you try it in your kitchen. Even if you are non-vegetarian, you can also try.   

These burger recipes are a perfect combination of satisfaction and fullness. It is a crunchy and savory mix of mushrooms, barley, chickpeas, and delicious sauces. 


Ingredients:

  • Water 4 cup

  • Salt 1.5 tablespoon (divide into two)

  • Barley, ⅓ cup uncooked and rinsed.

  • Bay leaf 1 dried

  • Fresh mushrooms, 1 pound quartered 

  • Soy sauce two tablespoons

  • Olive oil, seven tablespoons (divide into two)

  • Black pepper ½ teaspoon

  • Carrots about 3/4 cup shredded.

  • Beets 3/4 cup shredded.

  • Ground cumin one teaspoon

  • Smoked paprika one teaspoon.

  • Canned chickpeas 1 cup. 

  • Mustard paste one tablespoon

  • Mayonnaise

  • Sliced red onion,

  • Cheese slices

  • Tomato slices

  • Toasted hamburger buns


Directions

  • Heat the oven to 400°F for 20 minutes prior. 

  • Put a pan and pour 4 cups of water with salt. Please wait until it starts boiling. 

  • Add bay leaf and barley into the boiling water.

  • Boil or simmer on low flame for 30 minutes. 

  • Drain barley into the large bowl and discard bay leaf.  

  • Let it cool for 20 to 25 minutes. 

  • Add mushrooms, oil, salt, and black pepper to a baking tray and toss well. 

  • Make an equal layer and bake until mushrooms turn into medium brown. 

  • Remove from the heat and let all ingredients cool for 10 minutes. Don't turn off the oven. 

  • Use a food processor to process barley. 

  • Chope chickpeas in a food processor for 1 minute. 

  • Chop roasted mushrooms roughly in the food process. 

  • Transfer chopped mushrooms, chickpeas, and barley into a large bowl. 

  • Add paprika, cumin, shredded carrots, beets, and mustard paste.

  • Mix all ingredients. 

  • Make 1.5-inch-thick patties by shaping the mixture with your hands. 

  • Put a non-stick pan on the heat, add oil, and cook patties from both sides for 5-10 minutes on medium heat. 

  • Bake patties in preheated oven for 10 minutes. 

  • Heat the bunds and spread mayonnaise, put tomato slice, cheese slice, online rings, and patties. 

  • Serve them with yogurt sauce, tomato sauce, and a side serving of potato fries.


  1. Szechuan Beef Burgers


These are the spicy combo of Szechuan ingredients. Its unique ingredients are love that will force you to try it repeatedly. It contains beef with veggies and a crunch of peanuts. 

Szechuan Beef Burger combines spicy stir-fried vegetables and a savory crunch of peanuts. 


Ingredients For the Beef Patties:


  • Beef 4 cups grounded.

  • Slat 2 tablespoons

  • Black pepper one tablespoon

  • Peanut butter two tablespoons

  • Soy sauce 1 1/2 tablespoons

Ingredients For the Szechuan Stir Fry Topping:


  • Red bell pepper ½ cup thinly sliced.

  • Yellow bell pepper ½ cup thinly sliced.

  • Carrots 1 cup shredded.

  • Scallions 1 bunch chopped.

  • Roasted peanuts 1/2 cup

  • Sesame oil one tablespoon

  • Soy sauce 1/4 cup

  • Vinegar 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic minced one tablespoon.

  • Grated ginger, two tablespoons fresh

  • Cornstarch 1 teaspoon

  • Lettuce leaves

  • Mayonnaise

  • Six burger buns

  • Water ½ cup


Instructions:


  • Add beef, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and peanut butter in a bowl.

  • Mix all ingredients with clean hands to make them a smooth mixture. 

  • Make 6 to 8 1.5-inch-thick patties. 

  • Rest them in the freezer for 30 minutes.

  • Mix salt, pepper, vinegar, garlic, and ginger in a small bowl. 

  • Take another bowl and mix cornstarch into a half cup of water and set it aside.

  • Heat the grilling pan and grill patties from both sides for 10 to 12 minutes. 

  • Now, take a large pan and stir fry all veggies in sesame oil. Pour the cornstarch mixture and cook until it gets perfect thickness.

  • Add peanuts to this semi-liquid mixture. 


Let's Serve:


  • Take a burger bun, put a patty, veggies, and lettuce leaves. You can add a layer of mayo. Cover it with a top bun and serve it immediately. 

  • Serve it with jalapeno sauce and potato fries. 


  1. Lamb Burgers with Tabbouleh


Try lamb burgers if you want to add a healthy twist to your burger menu. This delicious burger will give you a unique taste of lean lamb with a traditional hamburger. Moreover, the meat of lamb is full of nutrients and fatty acids, so let's get the best alternative to beef burger,  


Ingredients For the Lamb Burger:


  • Lamb 4 cups ground

  • Salt 2 teaspoons

  • Cumin 2 teaspoons ground

  • Coriander 1 teaspoon ground

  • Cayenne pepper one teaspoon

  • Hamburger buns 6 with sesame seed

  • Red bell peppers 2 round slices

  • Yellow two bell peppers round slices


For The Tabbouleh:


  • Bulgur wheat 1 cup

  • Fresh mint 1/2 cup chopped.

  • Parsley 1/2 cup chopped.

  • Red onion 1/2 cup chopped.

  • Tomato 1/2 cup diced.

  • Cucumber 3/4 cup diced.

  • Lemon juice three tablespoons

  • Olive oil ¼ cup


Instructions For Tabbouleh


  • Boil one cup of water. Add bulgar to a bowl and Pour boiling water over it. 

  • Now, set it aside to turn soft for 1.5 hours. 

  • Mix all vegetables and herbs into the wheat. 

  • Add lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper. Mix all together and set it aside for later use. 


Instructions For Patties: 


  • Take a large bowl and mix lamb with all spices and herbs with your hands. 

  • Prepare 6-8 patties and place them into the freezer for one hour.

  • Heat the grilling pan and grill patties from both sides for 10 to 12 minutes. 

  • Grill round slices of bell pepper for 1-2 minutes from both sides 

  • Now spread mint sauce to the bun. Place grilled bell pepper and lamb patty. Then, spread tabbouleh over the patty. You can put a slice of cheese or mayo, but these are optional. Cove the top bun and serve.
